Customizing your brand’s boxes is easier than you think. Here are a few simple steps to help guide you through the process:
1. Determine the inside dimensions of the box: length x width x height (depth) in inches. If measuring the box from outside, it will add approx 1/2” for the flaps.
2. Decide how many colors you want to print. One color / 2 side is the simplest option if you just need the logo on your custom box. You can go 4 colors / 4 sides and even go crazy with the graphics, but this will increase the unit cost of the box.
3. How many custom boxes do you want to run? It may be smart to run more than less to take advantage of economies of scale. For boxes, running 1000 boxes vs 500 often makes sense as the unit cost may be closer to half the price. As you level up your brand, tomorrow you may need more boxes, so why not get a good price from the start.
